Pavitex Geotextiles and Geocomposites
Geosynthetics are a wide range of industrial products made of materials such as plastics, rubber, fabrics, membranes, which are used in civil, environmental, geotechnical, hydraulic and transport engineering applications.
They can be classified into three main categories: woven geotextiles, non-woven geotextiles and geocomposites.
Woven geotextiles are composed of synthetic threads woven or woven in such a way as to form a porous and flexible structure, while nonwoven geotextiles are produced using a technology that allows synthetic fibres to be thermally or mechanically joined together to form a non-woven structure.
Geocomposites, on the other hand, consist of two or more layers of geosynthetics of different types joined together to achieve specific performance.
Non-woven Geotextiles |
Geosynthetics made of randomly ordered and mechanically fixed synthetic fibres. Products |
Woven Geotextiles |
Regularly structured geosynthetics resulting from the interweaving of two series of threads (weft and warp). Products |
Geogrids |
Geosynthetics with plane open mesh woven structures composed of high tenacity synthetic fibers, with reinforcement and/or stabilization function. Products |
Drainage Geocomposites |
Geosynthetics with a draining core structure potentially combined with one or two filtrating non-woven geotextiles. Products |
Geomats and Biomats |
Geosynthetics made of natural or synthetic fibres designed for superficial erosion control. Products |
